1. Hackathons – Creative Learning through Collaboration
CodingGirl Hackathons are designed as innovative educational labs where teachers, educators, and students co-create new learning content focused on girls in STEAM.
Each hackathon generated:
- Methodologies – step-by-step guides for organizing hackathons and engaging participants;
- Lesson Plans for creative IT/STEAM activities – practical classroom materials that combine coding, problem-solving, and teamwork.
These resources empower teachers to introduce programming and technology in a playful and inclusive way, encouraging girls to experiment and think creatively.

2. Living Library – Learning Through Real Stories
The Women in Code Living Library is a collection of short video stories featuring inspiring women in ICT and STEAM.
Each “living book” shares a personal journey — challenges, achievements, and lessons learned — and is complemented by educational resources:
- Interview methodology – guidelines for identifying, recording, and editing storytelling materials,
- Methodology on how to record storytelling – technical and narrative principles for creating authentic and engaging videos,
- Lesson plans using Living books – classroom materials that help teachers integrate stories into their lessons, promote discussion, and inspire girls to pursue STEAM careers.
