Born in Erzin, Hatay, Nazire Saltık is a Statistics graduate of Eskişehir Osmangazi University and a SME Banking Portfolio Manager with 15 years’ experience. After a crisis-era start at Citibank, she advanced through training and mentorship and now supports women entrepreneurs with finance and literacy.
Nazire Saltık grew up loving mathematics; her uncle’s career in statistics at TÜİK inspired her path. She graduated in Statistics from Eskişehir Osmangazi University (2008). Amid the 2008 crisis she gave private lessons but kept aiming for banking. In 2010 a last-minute offer from Citibank became her turning point. After three years, a short role elsewhere ended due to workplace harassment; she moved on, rebuilt confidence through a supportive female mentor, training and certifications. Now in commercial banking at DenizBank, she helps SMEs—especially women entrepreneurs—improve financial literacy and access the right funding. Learning different systems across banks, she has built 15 years of experience. Her next goal is management.
Her message to girls: “Stories inspire. With empathy, discipline and belief, not just jobs but lives can change—and you can lead that change.”
